A little history Wildschutskloof

Wildschutskloof is a 2500 hectare private game farm situated 2.5 hours from Cape Town, nestled between the Warmwater Berge and Langeberg.

The name Wildschutskloof is a German Afrikaans name “Wild” meaning “Wild” in Afrikaans, Schuts meaning “Protect” in German and “Kloof” means “Vallei” in Afrikaans. The name says it all.

Many years ago the R62 would go through the property. Now that motor vehicles can go up steeper inclines the R62 runs around Wildschutskloof.
